Abstract: |
No dating evidence was recovered from either bank or ditch during the observation. However despite different profiles it seems likely to have been associated with that observed in 1982 which was estimated to have been created some time in the early 13th century. The ditch and bank were interpreted as being representative of an enlargement of the outer court of the abbey. [Au(adp)] |
