Abstract: |
A gradiometer survey covering 4 ha was carried out on land south of the existing limestone quarry. Several linear magnetic anomalies indicative of infilled ditches were identified. These anomalies probably represented a continuation of the system of land division/field enclosure which had previously been evaluated in the area immediately north-west of the area currently under investigation.
