Abstract: |
An evaluation, comprising the excavation of 26 machine-dug trenches on land proposed for a housing development, located a concentration of features (including pits, postholes and ditches) in the north-west part of the proposed development site. Rapid scanning of the remainder of the field surface indicated the probable extent of archaeological activity in the surrounding area. [AIP] |
