Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken on the edge of the historic core of Waltham on the Wolds and was seen to have potential for archaeological deposits. Topsoil was stripped across most of the site to reveal a mid-grey-brown silty subsoil which was further stripped down to orange-brown sandy clay and gravel natural substrata. No archaeological features or deposits were recorded. [Au(adp)] |
