Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of a new sewer trench. No archaeological deposits had been found during an earlier watching brief at the site. A large trench had to be excavated, and the top of a Roman wall was revealed. This had been badly damaged, and most of its north-west face removed, during the construction of the 19th century sewer. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 1991.1014 (YAT investigation identification no) |
