Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment of 71-77 Uxbridge Road was carried out with the aim of identifying the level at which Mesolithic and Palaeolithic flint artefacts might be expected. Many such flints had previously been found within 2km of the site. Borehole data was used to construct a theoretical section of deposits below the site, and a methodology for excavation of part of the site was proposed.[AIP] |
