Abstract: |
An archaeological investigation in the grounds of Seaham Hall attempted to establish a date for the cemetry on the site which had produced burials of early medieval date since the middle of the 19th century. The results of a radiocarbon analysis placed two of the ten burials recovered from the excavations to around the 8th century AD. [AIP] |
