Abstract: |
Archaeological observation of the hand excavation of a cable trench, started after contractors unearthed human remains. Roman deposits were recorded, as well as four articulated human skeletons. All but one of these showed signs of some disturbance. The burials were thought to be associated with the post-conquest church. [Au(adp)] |
