Abstract: |
The desk-top assessment determined that there was little likelihood that prehistoric remains survived on the site; but that due to the presence nearby of the presumed line of a Roman road, the possibility of the survival of remains of Romano-British farmsteads could not be ruled out. Anglo-Saxon remains were also known from the vicinity. [AIP] |
