Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during structural repairs to the Hatfield College Rectory. This involved the dismantling and rebuilding of the eastern end of the building, and entailed the excavation of substantial foundation trenches. The remains of a stone wall of possible medieval date was recorded on the north side of Bow Lane. Part of a blocked arch revealed during the excavations was also recorded. [Au(adp)] |
