Abstract: |
Observations during refurbishment of the clerestory revealed evidence of earlier timbers re-used in the present roof and clerestory structure. Some of these may pre-date the present Jacobean roof structure and may therefore represent the only surviving fragments of the medieval roof.[AIP] |
