Abstract: |
An evaluation in advance of the construction of new student accommodation by Brasenose and St. Cross colleges found limited evidence of medieval and post-medieval occupation in the form of pits. Documentary sources suggest activity in the area at this time, but later quarrying was shown to have severely truncated any deposits in most areas.[AIP] |
