An archaeological assessment was carried out on the area of the flood defence scheme. Areas of the proposed scheme were identified as having moderate to high potential for Roman remains associated with Car Dyke. Three sections of Car Dyke within the scheme were also identified as Scheduled Ancient Monuments. [Au(abr)] |
