Abstract: |
Despite the proximity of the site to the Darracott Moor Barrow Cemetery, no features of obvious prehistoric date were encountered during the evaluation. A small assemblage of lithic artefacts was recovered during a fieldwalking exercise which prompted the excavation of a test pit which revealed only animal disturbance. A probable post-medieval quarry pit was recorded, as well as field drains and field boundaries of the same date. [AIP] |
