Abstract: |
An excavation was carried out at the former site of a school and playing fields, following an evaluation which had recorded five probable medieval features. The excavation revealed two buildings, thought to represent the remains of a medieval farmstead. Features present included pits, gullies, ditches, stakeholes, postholes and hearths. Medieval pottery and prehistoric struck flints were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
