Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during residential development on the site. The site was identified as an area of archaeological potential as it was thought to lie within the extent of the medieval settlement of Shrewton. Three undated features, two ditches and a posthole, were revealed. Two sherds of 12th or 13th century medieval pottery were recovered from a probable modern feature but may have been derived from one of the ditches through which the pit had been cut. [AIP] |
