Abstract: |
A total of four evaluation trenches were excavated on the site of a bank and lynchet. A single phase of construction for the lynchet and a subsequent period of erosion for the bank were identified. A trackway was also excavated and was found to have no artificial surface or rut marks and may have been deliberately created as a ledge that had been cut into the natural slope of the hillside.
