Abstract: |
An evaluation revealed an area representing occupation from the middle Iron Age to Roman period, though not necessarily continuous. This was probably marginal to cropmark sites to the east and west. A later field system defined by medieval and post-medieval ditches was laid out on the site. There was no strong evidence for settlement here, indeed it was believed that the origins for both the finds and the ditches lay to the west and north of the site. [Au(adp)] |
