Abstract: |
<summary>A Roman occupation site (HWCM12336) was identified during an evaluation of the proposed route of the new Broadway By-Pass, undertaken on behalf of Hereford & Worcester County Council. This lies immediately to the north of an important series of enclosures identified by Jim Pickering from aerial photography in 1990. Elsewhere, flint artefacts, waste flakes and daub, recovered during fieldwalking, suggested the presence of a prehistoric site (HWCM12454, 12455). {italon}Sec(adp)(21c){italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} HWCM12336, 12454, 12455 |
