Abstract: |
An assessment into the history of the site identified the potential for Paleolithic finds and that a complex series of crop marks representing Roman and later prehistoric settlement lay partly within the site. Medieval open fields were later converted by Parliamentary Enclosure. Many of the enclosure boundaries were later removed. [Au(abr)] |
