Abstract: |
Masonry foundations and a possible fragment of paved area were seen lying beneath a 16th century deposit and a later mortared rubble foundation, which post-dated that deposit. These archaeological deposits were in turn buried beneath a deep humic soil, the possible result of gardening activity on the site over a period of some 350 years. [Au(abr)] |
