Abstract: |
Five trial trenches were excavated across earthworks associated with the medieval village of Hart. These earthworks were discovered to be the back yards of properties whose house platforms probably lay under the present houses. There was determined to be insufficient evidence of medieval activity at this site to require any further work in advance of development, however a watching brief was recommended. [Au(adp)] |
