Eleven trial trenches were excavated as an evaluation in response to a planning condition. No archaeological deposits were identified, but a few sherds of possible prehistoric and Roman pottery and several later Neolithic or Bronze Age struck flints were recovered from the spoilheaps. [Au(adp)] |
