Abstract: |
A total of 40 evaluation trenches were mechanically excavated to a cumulative length of 800m providing a 2% sample of the site. Ten of the trenches contained archaeological features. These were predominantly of Late Bronze Age date with unabraded pottery and appeared to be settlement related. Some Romano-British ditches with abraded pottery probably related to agricultural activity. [Au] |
