Abstract: |
Two evaluation trenches were excavated on the site of a proposed development. Nineteenth century basements and drainage features had heavily impacted the archaeology. Sequences of 17th century onwards build-up material was identified, sealing alluvial deposits. The earliest alluvial deposits encountered dated to the late medieval/early post-medieval period.
