Abstract: |
This report detailed the results of the excavation of five test pits along the route of a proposed electric cable, which runs to the north of a Scheduled Ancient Monument at Marwood, near Barnard Castle. The 2m x 2m pits were hand dug at points along the cable route. No significant archaeological deposits were exposed during the course of this work and no further work was recommended. [Au] |
