Abstract: |
The assessment concluded that a limited amount of prehistoric archaeology may have been found on site, and at least one area of Roman activity was located. The bulk of the archaeological features were likely to have been earthworks associated with the medieval manor of Plashes. These were located to the east and south-east of the present day farm. The location of two probable post-medieval buildings and a number of former field boundaries had also been identified. [Au(adp)] |
