Abstract: |
No evidence for earlier archaeological deposits, or for the date of the church, was observed or retrieved during the monitoring of the groundworks. The footings for the eastern wall were seen in the western side of the trench. It was however possible that the original (or at least 15th-century) ground level was marked by the position of a stone plinth.[Au(abr)] |
