Abstract: |
The assessment identified no known archaeological findspots of features predating the post-medieval period within the study area. There were Romano-British findspots near to the area. In the 17th century Badbrook Mill once stood, but was later demolished. Extensive redevelopment of the site occurred during the post-war period and was likely to have truncated any existing prehistoric archaeology. [Au(abr)] |
