Abstract: |
An excavation was carried out a site which was adjacent to a Cluniac Priory and subsequent Benedictine Abbey, a Scheduled Ancient Monument. A previous evaluation trench was extended during the excavation, and a series of medieval pits and post holes and post-medieval pits was revealed. Two large post-medieval drains or sewers were also recorded. [AIP] |
