Abstract: |
Three ten metre long trenches were excavated in advance of the demolition of the existing house and construction of three new detached two storey dwellings. The trial evaluation established that there had been considerable landscaping across the site with much importation and redistribution of material. No archaeological features were found, but the existence of previous terracing on the site was recorded. A confidence rating was low for the retrieval of further archaeological deposits. [Au(abr)] |
