Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated within the proposed development site. Several cut features were identified, these include a modern drainage channel and two post-medieval gullies. In the central part of the site structural remains were uncovered including the fragmentary remains of a possible wall and a stone flagged floor. Only one small unstratified sherd of medieval pottery was found, the rest of the finds assemblage dated to the later post-medieval and modern periods. [Au(abr)] |
