Abstract: |
The evaluation consisted of 45 trenches and a gradiometer survey. Archaeological remains did exist on the proposed development site. Mainly prehistoric activity was recorded; other features were related to post-medieval activity. The natural geology showed signs of truncation from plough damage. Finds recovered from the overburden include worked flint dating from the Mesolithic through to the Late Bronze Age. [Au(adp)] |
