Abstract: |
The desk based assessment identified that the site, prior to its developments in the mid 19th century, was open pasture land subject to frequent inundation during the medieval period with no settlement. However, the report indicated that there was evidence of prehistoric remains within 600m of the site and potentially significant archaeological deposits closer still. [Au(abr)] |
