Abstract: |
The only archaeologically significant feature revealed during the observation of trial pit excavation was a large ditch. The ditch yielded a single find, a hammerstone of prehistoric date. As the ditch was 'interrupted' in nature it was thought that it may have formed part of a Neolithic causewayed enclosure, a rare site in the South West. Further archaeological investigation was deemed necessary to identify the ditch. [AIP] |
