Abstract: |
The evaluation was carried out on a site which was thought to be the Thedwastre Hundred meeting place and provided evidence of a heavily truncated natural slope with very little archaeology surviving. Several 20th century features survived including post holes and a brick road running towards the present railway station with only one earlier undated feature identified, an east to west aligned ditch.
