Abstract: |
Stripping of the house plots and the eastern garage revealed a section of brick driveway showing on the 1896 Ordnance Survey map in addition to a probable boundary feature of similar date. The driveway/access strip cut through the wooded roadside boundary bank revealing its construction by yielding no dating evidence. No pre-nineteenth century remains were observed during the works.
