Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken during the construction of two vehicle-passing bays along a road which followed the course of mediaeval sea bank. No archaeological features or artefacts were encountered in the two excavated trenches. The trenches revealed a layer of topsoil overlying a layer of subsoil; the subsoil profile was only partially exposed. [Au(abr)] |
