Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed a section of a brick built tunnel probably constructed in or shortly after 1740. It was thought that the tunnel linked the basements and offices of Ambrosden Hall to the church of St. Mary the Virgin. No other features or deposits of archaeological significance were discovered.
