Abstract: |
A small number of potential prehistoric features containing struck flint and pottery were located. Small amounts of late Saxon features and pottery were identified. The majority of features comprised pits, ditches, gullies and post holes which contained moderate amounts of medieval pottery which formed a small settlement and/or pottery production. One modern brick structure on the crest of the hill was located as well as large amounts of brick and tile, and small amounts of animal bone, metal objects and flint. [Au(adp)] |
