Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed evidence of medieval ridge and furrow across the site which had been truncated by subsequent drainage projects. The report concluded that the evaluation identified new evidence of the medieval agricultural landscape to add to that identified from the air. The evidence permitted speculation upon the potential survival of an aspect of that landscape up to the early 20th century. [Au(adp)] |
