Abstract
Mesolithic hunting in Denmark illustrated by bone injuries caused by human weapons
Nanna Noe-Nygaard
217 - 248
Animal skeletons from eight Danish Meso settlements and fourteen isolated bog finds reveal in some cases the types of weapon which inflicted injuries upon them. A temporal change in the proportion of unhealed to healed fractures may relate to the increasingly settled way of life of the hunters.
Evidence of biological differences between early British populations from Neolithic to medieval times, as revealed by eleven commonly available cranial vault measurements

Botanical evidence for prehistoric crop processing activities
Robin W Dennell
275 - 284
Grain samples obtained by froth flotation on Bulgarian sites were examined to determine, from the presence or absence of residues such as spikelets and weed seeds, the likely processes applied by the farmers to their stored grain. Dehusking, cleaning and parching processes were evident, and fully-cleaned grains tended to be found in or associated with ovens.
