Abstract
The North West Wetlands Survey, Shropshire

Brief summary of the results of the first season's work in Shropshire by the North West Wetlands Survey, concentrating on the county's three largest areas of peat: Fenns/Whixall Moss on the border with Clwyd; Baggy Moor, east of Oswestry; and the Weald Moors, north of Telford. Mesolithic--BA flint, some RB and medieval pot, and fire-cracked stone spreads were observed.
