Notes on documentary sources which shed light on aspects of the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Stoke sub Hamdon, including the location of the Dragonslayer window; construction work on the tower undertaken during the mid-eighteenth century; and extracts from the parish magazine from 1909 to the 1950s relating to the architectural history of the church and its environs.

Article on the existing evidence for the deserted medieval settlement and manor of Draycott, based on a topographical study by the author, on documentary sources and on local field names.

Note on two incised fragments of stone re-used as treads of the stair leading to the tower top in St John's Church, Yeovil, but apparently taken from medieval grave slabs.
