Abstract: |
Short notes record progress on surveys for churches in Staffordshire and W Yorkshire, and on aerial reconnaissance for churches in Norfolk. Terrence James (9-16) contributes 'The early origins of churchyard enclosures in SW Wales--a continuing study of siting and morphology' and Graham D Keevill (16-18) notes some 'Early medieval finds from Carlisle Cathedral' (metalwork of 9th-10th century). I Ferris (19-21) reports rescue work at 'Bridgnorth Franciscan Friary, Shropshire' and T Tatton-Brown (21-3) describes excavations at 'St Gregory's Priory in Canterbury'. |
