Abstract:
Two adult inhumations (one female, one unsexed) of probable Romano-British date were recovered from the Godfrey's yard site. The female was in a stone coffin. Bone preservation in both inhumations was very poor reflecting the acid nature of local soil conditions. There is an appendix giving data for individual burials (4).
