Abstract: |
Almost half of the 94kg of industrial debris from this ninth to thirteenth century site was visually examined to assess its potential for further study. The assemblage indicated a wide range of metalworking activities including iron smelting, iron smithing, silver refining and copper alloy working. Limited further investigation is justified. |
