Abstract: |
Assemblages of knives and spearheads from the two Anglo-Saxon cemeteries at Mucking, Essex were too poorly preserved to justify metallographic examination. Examination of X-radiographs of the 167 knives and 65 spearheads allowed some conclusions to be drawn about the construction techniques used during their manufacture. |
