Abstract: |
Two small pieces of window glass from a context dated to the Anglian abandonment of the site were analysed using the scanning electron microscope in an attempt to date them. They were high lime, low alkali potash glass, a composition most closely parallelled in the medieval period and unknown in the eighth century. |
