Abstract: |
Twelve Berkshire towns are covered, brief details of history, documentary and archaeological potential, topography, buildings, planning proposals etc, being given for each. Seven are thought to need large scale excavation to solve historical problems and in addition to the twelve towns there are four possible Late Saxon foundations. |
